JEWELRY CARE

It is natural for sterling silver jewelry to tarnish, blacken or discolor over time; it just needs a little tender loving care. 

Keep your clean jewelry in it's pouch.

Silver jewelry can be cleaned with:

• A silver-cleaning-cloth,  

• warm soapy water 

• or apply a paste made from bicarbonate of soda and water.  Rub the paste on the jewelry piece, allow it to sit for a couple of minutes, then rinse in water and an brush it with an old toothbrush or nail brush.

• More difficult or stubborn tarnishing may require use of a commercial cleaning metal polish or silver foam, do not use it on oxidized jewelry.

Tarnish is caused by several factors which include:

• Exposure to moisture, humidity, sunlight and oxygen.

• Acidity (ph balance) of a person’s skin, which in turn is affected, for example, by diet, medication and stress.

Which shipping method do you use?

We use USPS PRIORITY MAIL  $12 flat rate (USA) Free Shipping over $350 

International orders, starting at $45 (outside of the USA)  may be charged  import taxes/duties fees (Usually for orders over $299 in EUROPE  and over $150  in UK); Ruby Silver is not responsible for them and does not have any control over these fees and we cannot advise as to what the costs will be, as they vary by country. For more information, please contact your local customs office. Keep in mind that we’re not able to reimburse you for duties and taxes paid upon delivery.  ‎

Can I pick up my package instead of shipping?

Absolutely! As long as you are based in New York City feel free to contact us.

Yes! We can customize most of our designs (there's a minimum quantity per design).
